Cubic Metre Bag of Seasoned Softwood Firewood

Well seasoned (air dried) softwood firewood, primarily spruce and larch that has been dried through the summer ready for immediate use on open fires, wood burners, multi-fuel stoves etc. The logs are cut to an average of 20cm and split to allow them to dry quickly.

The bags contain at least 90% softwood, there is always a possibility that some hardwood managed to get mixed in but not very often!

Delivered on a burnable wooden pallet.

Useful Tips

Softwood Firewood gets to temperature very fast!

Softwood firewood is best used on closed appliances - multifuel stoves, roomheaters etc due to it's tendency to spit and crackle. It is very good if a fast starting or short duration fire is required (late evening for example) It will get to temperature very quickly but does not last quite as long as hardwood firewood.
